The Friday schedule follows the same intentional rhythm as our full-week 3's program. Three hours. Five purposeful blocks. One very happy child.

Academic Play
1.5 hours

Teacher-guided, purposeful play aligned to curriculum themes and your child's individual learning goals.

Developmental Playroom
30 minutes

Student-driven exploration in a monthly-rotating environment that changes with our curriculum themes.

Daily Enrichment
30 minutes

Friday is Music & Movement — one of the most joyful parts of the Spark week, building rhythm, coordination, and creative expression.

Outdoor Play
15 minutes

Fresh air, gross motor development, and unstructured time to just be a kid.

Snack & Bathroom Break
15 minutes

A calm, community moment that builds independence and self-care routines. Snack is provided — included in tuition.

Questions About Fresh 3's Fridays

Does my child need to be potty trained?
Yes. All students at Spark Academy — across every program — must be fully potty trained before their first day. If your child is still working on potty training, we recommend waiting until they have achieved independence before enrolling.
Can my child enroll if they have never been to preschool before?
Absolutely. This program is designed specifically as a first school experience for families who want to take that first step gently. Many of our Friday families have children who have never been in a classroom setting before.
What if my child's birthday is mid-year — can they really start then?
Yes. Unlike most preschools that hold a fixed enrollment cutoff at the start of the school year, Spark welcomes Fresh 3's Friday students starting on their third birthday, whenever that falls during the school year. Call us at 309-291-3292 and we will get you set up.
Is Fresh 3's Fridays the same quality as the full 3's program?
It is the same program. Same teachers. Same Purposeful Play Framework. Same individualized approach. Same enrichment, Developmental Playroom, and daily schedule structure. The only variable is the number of days per week.
What happens if we want to add more days later?
Friday students can join the Monday/Wednesday 3's Preschool at any point during the school year. Just let us know when you are ready and we will walk you through the transition.
Is there a waitlist?
Fresh 3's Fridays is capped at 12 students. If you are interested, we recommend scheduling a tour soon to check on availability.
